hyundai coupe wheel nuts?

I have a hyundia coupe 2000 y reg, it has 15 inch alloys on it but im changing to 17 inch alloys. what length wheel nuts would i need.

I assume the new wheels are approved and road legal? If not you will be driving illegally, without insurance. The supplier of the new wheels should also provide new wheel bolts. If not, don't bother as it is all too risky. Oh and unless the tyres are suitably low profile your speedometer will be inaccurate which is an MOT failure.

Have I bought the wrong wheels for my bike?

I have a large XC bike. It came with 'non-brand' wheels and hubs. They have lasted well but after having to continually refurbish the freehub I felt like I was flogging a dead horse and decided to get new wheels. With little research I bought the cheapest wheels I could find with Shimano hubs (So I can get spares if I bust them again. I got a Shimano MT-15 wheel set for £90 (down from £160) from Merlin Cycles. I have just received the parcel and the info that came with it recommends 2.25 inch tyres, I am currently running 2.4 inches. Is this going to be a problem? Also the holes drilled into the wheels don't seem to fit my inner-tubes Shrader valves through them, I think they have been drilled from Prestas(?). Does this mean they are road wheels? I am quite sure I was sold them as MTB wheels and have never seen presta valves on an MTB bike? Thank you in advance for your help. Sam

The MT-15 wheels are mountain bike wheels. Most road and mountain wheels are drilled for Presta valves. You'll need new tubes with the correct valve. You can use tires of various widths, including your 2.4in tires. Besides, there's only 0.15 inch difference between a 2.4 and 2.24in tire, and tires vary in their actual width from one manufacturer to another.

You should have no problems with your tires fitting on the rim. As for the valve, it is fairly common for wheels road or mountain to be drilled for presta valves. You have 2 choices: you could simply use presta valve inner tubes, or you could drill the holes out to accept Shrader valves, making sure that you remove any burrs from the drilling process. It's your choice

Original Dodge and Plymouth B-Body Muscle 1966-1970

Creator: Jim Schild | 2004-12-25

About this book
The B-body accounted for a wide range of Chrysler Corporation muscle cars of the sixties and seventies, including the Charger, Road Runner, Super Bee, Satellite, GTX, and Coronet R/T. These cars brought a great deal of character to the muscle car scene and continue to be extremely popular today, particularly with Mopar fans, some of the most rabid car enthusiasts there are. As an Original series title, this book will detail the correct parts, finishes, options, and trim pieces for all the b-body cars of this era. The wide variety of engine options, from Hemi to Wedge to Ram, will be covered in detail, as will all the special editions that featured wild colors and unique bodywork--elements that were crucial to the mystique of these cars. The book will be filled with high-quality, detailed photos of cars that are either excellent originals or very accurate restorations.About the AuthorJim Schild is the publisher of The Auto Review and is the author of eight automotive books, including four for Motorbooks International. He began his life-long enthusiasm for Chrysler products in 1965 when he first worked at the St. Louis Chrysler Assembly Plant and continued into later involvement with drag racing. Schild lives in Columbia, Illinois and is a member of fifteen local and national collector car organizations, including the Society of Automotive Historians.

How to Improve Triumph TR7, TR7-V8, TR8

Creator: Roger Williams | 2007-03-30

Even if you are planning a fast road car, you may still prefer to fit 15 inch wheels. These allow for 195 x 60 R15 tyres, thus increasing the footprint from standard while not materially affecting the overall diameter of the tyre, and allowing for ...

About this book
From the beginning of TR7 development, British Leyland saw North America as a primary destination for its new sportscar. The car was to be the first of a new line of Triumph cars that was tailored for the American markets. Contents include aesthetic changes, body strengthening, roll-cages, brake upgrades, performance wheel changes, gearbox, clutch, four-cylinder engine upgrades, selecting and fitting a V8 engine, improving the suspension and upgrading the rear axle, ignition, carburetor selection and fitting, improving existing and retro-fitting Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI), engine transplants, electrical reliability upgrades, weight reduction and more. This review is from: BAZIC 16 x 18 x 15 Inches, Folding Cart On Wheels with Lid Cover, Black (2196) (Office Product) I am a nursing instructor and have several clinical groups during the school quarter. I have been juggling various bags to get important information and documents to my clinical sites specific for each group. The Bazic cart on wheels has made my mornings so much easier. It is light weight (until I put my books/paperwork in it!) and easy to maneuver. I do not have to have separate bags for each clinical group and transfer the basics from one to the other any more. I have my student files, care plan book, student work, and basic equipment all in one place. I even have room for my water bottle and lunch! Even with all this I can easily lift it in and out of my trunk. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , June 16, 2013

Not 100% but still the best wheeled backpack available

My 12 year old son has tried virtually every wheeled backpack on the market. We require a large capacity (2000 cubic inches+) wheeled backpack to be able to fit his textbooks, planner, school supplies, water bottle, gym clothes, and assorted other odds and ends. When full, these result in a load too heavy to be comfortably lifted-hence the need for a wheeled pack. Said pack has to go up and down multiple flights of stairs at his school daily, in and out of 2 separate carpools, and travels on planes for trips. No back pack we have ever purchased has lasted one full school year, including this one-but, this has been the best and longest lasting of what we've tried. The Jansport Driver 8 is our second choice, but the second main compartment droops on the ground when filled, causing the fabric to rip almost imemdiately from being scraped. It is $12 more expensive than the Targus (at least when we bought it), 2 inches smaller in width, and 1 inch smaller in depth, and hence 2 pounds... 4/5 N. great replacement tire

0 5/5 bandito (MO, USA) - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Marathon Industries 20001 4.80/4.00-8"-Inch Pneumatic (Air Filled) Wheelbarrow Tire with Ribbed Tread - 6"-Inch Centered Hub - 5/8"-Inch Bearing - 15.5"-Inch Tire Diameter (Lawn & Patio) I thought about a solid core replacement tire but decided on the pneumatic due to the softer feel of the "ride". I haul 100 lb+ loads of firewood in my wheelbarrow and a pneumatic tire definately absorbs more vibration than a solid. The tire I replaced was 20 years old and never had a flat--just dried and cracked and wouldn't hold air anymore. Make sure to get the correct size for your axle---these come in 5/8" and 3/4" diameter. Check your axle diameter using an open end wrench. Also, this wheel has a built in spacer--obvious from the picture. I like this better than the cheap plastic spacers on the non-built in type. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , February 28, 2013

0 5/5 oibv305 - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Marathon Industries 20001 4.80/4.00-8"-Inch Pneumatic (Air Filled) Wheelbarrow Tire with Ribbed Tread - 6"-Inch Centered Hub - 5/8"-Inch Bearing - 15.5"-Inch Tire Diameter (Lawn & Patio) I have an old True Temper 6 cubic foot contractor wheelbarrow, probably 20 years old. The tire had cracked along the treads and would not hold air. I was going to attempt to buy a tube and install it, but several reviewers had indicated that was a pain. Another alternative was to buy a solid rubber tire which seemed really dumb to me. So I made a few measurements on the old wheel and this wheel and tire seemed pretty close to those measurements. Turns out that it is the exact same wheel and tire as the old one. It was shipped very quickly and arrived in two days. The price seemed reasonable, especially since removing the old wheel and installing this took about 5 minutes and I did not have to fight to get a new tube installed. Problem solved. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , July 27, 2013

We have lots of goat head thorns so I put Slime in the tube. Because the wheel turns so slowly the Slime keeps the tire from going flat. This new tire is more pliable and less cracked than the 40 year old tire, so I do not think the thorns are even penetrating the tube yet. I have moved over 60 thousand pounds of gravel, rock and other material since putting this on and it has been great. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , July 26, 2014
