    Great Tire Great Value

0 5/5 Dave (Michigan) - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Shinko 712 Rear Tire - 130/90H-16/Black I have used this Brand and model tire before, this will be my third tire for my third Interstate motorcycle. I have tried other brands (Bridgestone, Dunlop) and they seem to last just as long if not longer then the more expensive brands. I ride hard and fast from state to state and have used this tire in rain and sleet, it handles great. My current bike is a Honda Custom touring bike. On a previous Interstate bike I put on a little over 8,000 miles before I sold it and it still had plenty of meat left. Good cornering, good ride, I rate this as a good value. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , May 6, 2011

    Worth more than I paid

I have been an avid biker for over 30 years and have been through a lot of tires. 95% of those that claim to be "high mileage" end up being no better than any other. Truth be know is that there is NO holy grail when it comes to tires. Bottom line is there are three factors that determine tire wear/life, and that's rider & cargo weight, riding style and the bike itself. Of course any tire will last longer on a lightweight jap bike than it would on a Harley as I have (and I weigh 274 lbs). Proper inflation is also a key to tire wear. So unless the reviewer reveals some or all of this info, take it with a spoon of salt. I have purchased numerous brands and they have lasted almost the same (4500-5500 mi). This tire is no exception but for one thing, and that is the price. DEFINITELY a bargain. Delivery was way fast (3 days ahead of schedule). Tread pattern is good looking and functional. Wears evenly and is well balanced. Out preforms tires 3 times the price. Will definitely... 5/5 Mike frady - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) Second set on my Harley

0 5/5 Harleyjoe - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Michelin Commander II Reinforced Motorcycle Tire Cruiser Rear - 130/90-16 (Automotive) This is my very first review of anything i've purchased on here. I felt these tires deserved one. This is the second set that i've installed on my 2007 Harley FLHTCU, and i couldn't be happier. I wanted to wait until i rode these to the wear limit before reviewing. They are the absolute best handling tires i've every owned, and prior to these i've used the OEM Dunlops exclusively. Never got more than 9000 miles on rear and 20,000 on the front. The Michelin still has tread left on them at 15000 miles on the rear, and 25000 miles on the front. The only reason i'm changing them now is that i've got a 2000 mile trip planned and didn't want to trust 2 year old tires for it. I've got absolutely no complaints on the Michelin tires. The handle and feel great, and they wear like iron.. Highly recommend. And the plus side, is you can get them on Amazon cheaper than the OEM tires. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , May 24, 2014

    So Far Great Product

0 4/5 Andrew Heuerman - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Michelin Commander II Reinforced Motorcycle Tire Cruiser Rear - 130/90-16 (Automotive) I have put around 3,000 miles on my 2003 Harley Electra Glide since installing this tire and it has been working great. It was more affordable than the Dunlop. My Dunlop that was on the bike when I purchased it was worn out so I can't tell you which one is better as far as traction but this one seems to be working well and does not show excessive wear with 3,000 miles. Price per mile of wear it appears this one beats the Dunlop. Only time will tell. It did slide when riding in the rain coming down a hill in Omaha one time but I think no matter what tire I would have had on there it would have slide due to the smoothly worn road. I have had good luck with all of the Michelin tires that I've purchased. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , December 23, 2013

    Michelin is the best!

0 5/5 CadeCampbell - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Michelin Commander II Reinforced Motorcycle Tire Cruiser Rear - 130/90-16 (Automotive) I love Michelin tires on automobiles, but have yet to run them on my Motorcycle. Just got back from a 1,200 mile trip and love these tires. I have ran Avon Venom and Metzler me880 for years. I wanted a tire that would last longer as the previously mentioned tires wear out in the center too quick(4,000 miles top) even with faithful air pressure maintenance. I went through torrential down pours, rough alpine roads(Silverton,CO) and they didn't let me down once. Smooth running, water displacing, road gripping performance from a manufacturer at the top of the market. Get these tires now! a lovely budget tire!

0 4/5 wasmannia - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Kenda Cruiser K671 Motorcycle Street Tire - 130/90H-16 (Automotive) This tire was easy to fit, well balanced and rode nicely from the start. I can not comment on longevity but it holds well even in greasy rainy conditions. We get three times as much rain as Seattle so wet weather holding is very important. I've always bought premium tires at twice the price of this one but have to say I'm a convert! I fit my own tires with basic equipment and this was an easy tire to fit. Highly recommended!update: I've now put over 1000 miles on this tire and its wearing very well. It rains a lot where I live (and I mean a LOT). These are very good in the wet, feel "grippy" and give me some confidence on slippery roads. Yes there are better tires out there but at this price, the Kendas are the very best of the budget tires. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , July 3, 2013

All around great tire for a great value!

0 5/5 Alexander Kwong - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Kenda Cruiser K671 Motorcycle Street Tire - 130/90H-15 (Automotive) I have a 2007 Honda Rebel 250 and bought this tire to replace my stock rear Dunlop after 14k miles were put on it, and I have to say, I am really impressed with this tire. So far I have only put about 1k miles on the Kendas, but those 1k miles have been great. It has improved my handling and cornering abilities greatly. Before with my Dunlops, I was always weary of taking turns fast and hard, but these have gave me back the confidence to go faster on my bike. :) Also the ride is smooth and quiet so far. I would highly recommend this for all bikes. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , October 29, 2013
