    Michelin Commander NO WOBBLE !!

0 5/5 Larry - See all my reviews This review is from: Michelin Commander II Reinforced Motorcycle Tire Cruiser Front 130/90-16 (Automotive) Absolutely GREAT TIRES. 40 year rider and I know a good tire. The WOBBLE comment is totally GOOFY. This is most likely a mechanical issue with the bike, wheel, suspension, etc. Lots of bikes out there have wobble engineered in them standard from the factory. Not trying to be funny here, but they do. GL1800 Gold Wings have a cheap set of steering head bearings that cause wobble. That's just 1 example. Tires are not the cause. If you want a great tire BUY THESE !!! 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , May 10, 2013

0 5/5 tmorgan0630 - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Michelin Commander II Reinforced Motorcycle Tire Cruiser Rear - 130/90-16 (Automotive) I bought these to replace Dunlop 404's, hands down much better tire than the Dunlop's. These handle better in all types of weather conditions than my previous Dunlop's and Bridgestone's. For your older bike, these are so much better and last twice as long for the same price! I will not go back to any other tire. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , October 11, 2013

    So Far Great Product

0 4/5 Andrew Heuerman - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Michelin Commander II Reinforced Motorcycle Tire Cruiser Rear - 130/90-16 (Automotive) I have put around 3,000 miles on my 2003 Harley Electra Glide since installing this tire and it has been working great. It was more affordable than the Dunlop. My Dunlop that was on the bike when I purchased it was worn out so I can't tell you which one is better as far as traction but this one seems to be working well and does not show excessive wear with 3,000 miles. Price per mile of wear it appears this one beats the Dunlop. Only time will tell. It did slide when riding in the rain coming down a hill in Omaha one time but I think no matter what tire I would have had on there it would have slide due to the smoothly worn road. I have had good luck with all of the Michelin tires that I've purchased. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , December 23, 2013

    Michelin is the best!

0 5/5 CadeCampbell - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Michelin Commander II Reinforced Motorcycle Tire Cruiser Rear - 130/90-16 (Automotive) I love Michelin tires on automobiles, but have yet to run them on my Motorcycle. Just got back from a 1,200 mile trip and love these tires. I have ran Avon Venom and Metzler me880 for years. I wanted a tire that would last longer as the previously mentioned tires wear out in the center too quick(4,000 miles top) even with faithful air pressure maintenance. I went through torrential down pours, rough alpine roads(Silverton,CO) and they didn't let me down once. Smooth running, water displacing, road gripping performance from a manufacturer at the top of the market. Get these tires now! Great Tire Great Value

0 5/5 Dave (Michigan) - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Shinko 712 Rear Tire - 130/90H-16/-- I have used this Brand and model tire before, this will be my third tire for my third Interstate motorcycle. I have tried other brands (Bridgestone, Dunlop) and they seem to last just as long if not longer then the more expensive brands. I ride hard and fast from state to state and have used this tire in rain and sleet, it handles great. My current bike is a Honda Custom touring bike. On a previous Interstate bike I put on a little over 8,000 miles before I sold it and it still had plenty of meat left. Good cornering, good ride, I rate this as a good value. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , May 6, 2011

    Worth more than I paid

I have been an avid biker for over 30 years and have been through a lot of tires. 95% of those that claim to be "high mileage" end up being no better than any other. Truth be know is that there is NO holy grail when it comes to tires. Bottom line is there are three factors that determine tire wear/life, and that's rider & cargo weight, riding style and the bike itself. Of course any tire will last longer on a lightweight jap bike than it would on a Harley as I have (and I weigh 274 lbs). Proper inflation is also a key to tire wear. So unless the reviewer reveals some or all of this info, take it with a spoon of salt. I have purchased numerous brands and they have lasted almost the same (4500-5500 mi). This tire is no exception but for one thing, and that is the price. DEFINITELY a bargain. Delivery was way fast (3 days ahead of schedule). Tread pattern is good looking and functional. Wears evenly and is well balanced. Out preforms tires 3 times the price. Will definitely... 5/5 Mike frady - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) 0 5/5 Doug "Doug" (TX USA) - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Shinko 712 Rear Tire - 130/90H-16/-- I bought front and rear Shinko 712s for my 1988 Honda NX250. They spooned on just fine and balanced easily. After scuffing them in for about 100 miles, they have performed better than I expected. They are quiet and smooth and hold the road really well in corners. I commute 350 miles per week and have been caught in several rain storms since I installed these tires. After the first wet road, I have total confidence in them. The only tire I have had handle the rain as well as these were my Metzler 880s on my Goldwing. The next bike in the stable that needs tires is the Ninja and I'll be putting Shinkos on it as well! 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , July 21, 2012

0 5/5 FDK (HAWKINS, TEXAS, US) - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Kenda Kruz K673 Motorcycle Street Rear Tire - 150/80H16 (Automotive) I love this tire. I first used one on my Vtx 1800 due to the fact Dunnys wouldn't last more than 2k miles under it. I had well over 4k miles on it when I sold the bike and it still looked better than a Dunny with 500 miles. I now have a set of them on my ultra classic and they perform great. Had a good rear on my bike but front was about gone so used that to get both. Will NEVER run anything else as long as Kenda keeps doing it right and for the right price. I got both tires for a lot less than a set of Dunlop would cost. If you want your tire to say Harley Davidson on the side stick with the Dunnys. Only warning is if possible clean the tires before you mount them or be careful. the coating on them is very slick when brand new.Nothing a little smart riding will not fix. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , June 13, 2012

No better tire for the money

0 4/5 okitsme408597 - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) H speed rated, 4 ply construction, other than the obviously minimal tread which tends to slip sometimes (can be useful on the rear for quick turns).I can't believe that the cheapest tire on the market is so good. It's ten times better than the OEM tire, which the manufacturer is still trying to sell for double this price. Neither has it picked up any nails or screws to cause a flat, whereas the original did four times in its 16k miles. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , July 17, 2012
