Best BFG tire i've ever owned

5/5 Mchestnut - See all my reviews This review is from: BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 Radial Tire - 285/75R16 126R (Automotive) By far the best tire that I have ever owned. I purchased a complete set for my Jeep Wrangler and absolutely love them. I had the BFG 255/75/17 mud terrain on it before. It's amazing the difference in the ride and how well these KO2 handle on road and off road. The reviews are all true about these tires. They are the best., February 18, 2016

    Exceptional All-Purpose Tires

If you want a tire that can do highways comfortably, allow you to be a weekend warrior for off-roading, and severe snow handling -- look no further. This is a bad--- tire! Not for working trucks

I have ran Toyo MT's and Firestone MT's on my Chevy 2500 HD and was very pleased with the performance of both. (accept for road noise and only getting between 30 - 40K out of them) I decided to go with the these DuraTracs this time to hopefully improve both of those areas where the tradition mud terrains fall short, while still having the off-road traction I want. I have only had them on the truck for about a week, and haven't put many miles on them so I cant comment on tread life. The road noise is defiantly lower than the MT's I have had. However, the lateral stability of these Load Range E "truck" tires is terrible! I towed 2 different trailers only weighing about 6K lbs each in the last week, and felt like I was getting pushed all over the road compared to my past tires. The whole rear end of the truck sways out and feels like it is going to break loose and pass me on corners, and then comes sloshing back when the corner is over. It feels very sloppy like I'm towing... 2/5 Tyler - See all my reviews This review is from: Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac Traction Radial Tire - 285/75R16 126P (Automotive) I have ran Toyo MT's and Firestone MT's on my Chevy 2500 HD and was very pleased with the performance of both. These are awesome on snow and ice!

5/5 Zachary Clemmons - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac Traction Radial Tire - 285/75R16 126P (Automotive) These are awesome on snow and ice! And they're $15 or more cheaper per tire than anywhere in Fairbanks, AK. I haven't had the chance to try them on mud because everything is frozen but my wife was able to get herself out of the median in 2 feet of snow. I have them on two Jeeps, one JKU and one TJ and neither one slides anymore. My TJ would slide on the smallest patch of ice but not anymore. And I haven't even studded them yet! I didn't get them through amazon they were already on my truck when I got it but they have yet to let me down while driving off road. I've put the tires through hell and they've held up very well. I personally would recommend them to anyone who needs a set of good off road tires. Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , December 22, 2015

Great product great price even ships to Alaska

5/5 Amazon Customer - See all my reviews This review is from: Mastercraft Courser MXT Mud Terrain Radial Tire - 285/75R16 126Q (Automotive) Just ordered them a few days ago and they shipped out 2nd day air. THESE WILL SHIP TO ALASKA! Good looking solid Load range E tires. So far they seem quiet for mud tires. Havent got the chance to really test them out but they look amazing on my 1/2 ton. I was considering other tires that were cheaper, but I like that these are made by Cooper here in the USA, and still are decently priced. very surprising

Since I've lived in Alice Springs for the last 23 years I've tried a lot of different tyres for my bush work, driving 600,000km over vast areas and a multitude of conditions including all but one of our deserts. I've personally found that "desert duellers", for instance, are no such thing, and by any number of others passing through here, that many Cooper's tyres fall well short of the advertising hype, especially with the rubber compound. Worse, when something does go wrong they trot out a pre-prepared list to try and blame it on the customer and their famous "guarantee" is virtually ignored. So it was with trepidation that I looked at Mickey Thomson's for my Prado after I discovered that they were made in the Cooper's factory in the U.S. Anyway, I'd always thought of Mickey Thomson's as "pretty boy, city boy's" tyres. Lately I've run BFG mud terrain T/A s on my troopcarrier and have been very impressed, but that vehicle does more dedicated hard slog work, for the Prado I... 5/5 Bilby Wasabe (Australia) - See all my reviews This review is from: Mickey Thompson Baja STZ All-Terrain Radial Tire - 265/75R16 116T (Automotive) Since I've lived in Alice Springs for the last 23 years I've tried a lot of different tyres for my bush work, driving 600,000km over vast areas and a multitude of conditions including all but one of our deserts. Very Good Tire for the Money

I'm quite impressed with these Baja STZ tires so far. I've put about 5,000 miles on them, with at least 25% of that being gravel and dirt. Where I live in Wyoming we have many unpaved roads that go on for miles, so I do a bit of that, sometimes at rather high speeds. They do quite well in dirt, sand and gravel, much better than the stock all-season tires they replaced on my Nissan Frontier 4x4. What really impressed me was how good they are on pavement, since I didn't expect that. They are smooth, quiet, and hold the road well. No noticeable wear so far and they've held their balance.10 ply truck tires are overkill on my midsized pickup, particularly since I never tow more than 3,000 pounds. I like the fact that the Baja STZ's have a little more load capacity than a typical P-rated tire in 265/75-16 though. Most have a load index of 112 or 114, but these have a 116 load rating. That's a good compromise for me since a 120/123 tire would ride a little rough, and I'd... 5/5 bansko - See all my reviews This review is from: Mickey Thompson Baja STZ All-Terrain Radial Tire - 265/75R16 116T (Automotive) I'm quite impressed with these Baja STZ tires so far.
