Best Mud Tires I've owned so far that does just as well on pavement.

My first impression of these tires was that they looked really beefy and nice, i was anxious to get them on my Tacoma and see the whole package. Just as I suspected they looked event better once they were on. My first drive with these tires was really impressive. The sound was fairly minimal for a mud tire. The thing that impressed me the most was how it handled on the pavement. The ride was really soft and smooth, and these tires handles turns better than any tire i have ever owned. I've had BF Goodrich, Bridgestone, Nankang, and none can compare to this tire so far. The true test will be in muddy terrain. We'll find that out real soon. I would highly recommend these tires to anyone. With free shipping, regardless of mounting and balancing fees, I still came out ahead. Amazon really knows how to take good care of their customers, Quality products and has always came on time all the way over to Hawaii it's not expected but I've always received my orders before the estimated shipment... 5/5 James Marques - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) Nice ride.

This review is from: Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ Radial Tire - LT265/75R16 123Q (Automotive) Awesome grip in both wet and dry conditions as well as ice and snow. Ride smooth and handle great. Very impressed so far.;-) of course 4wd helps. Or some added weight in the rear end. Additionally they have a nice appearance and suprisingly aren't very loud for a larger lug tire. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , March 14, 2014

This review is from: Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ Radial Tire - LT265/75R16 123Q (Automotive) These tires are great in the snow. I haven't gotten stuck yet, its great. After awhile they get noisy on the road but you don't really hear it until 35mph+. They've been good to me so far, have yet to try them in mud. But i can say I've driven through over 2 feet of snow and didn't even slip. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , December 24, 2013

    Great tires!

0 5/5 Ed in Albuquerque - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Hankook DynaPro ATM RF10 Off-Road Tire - 265/75R16 114T (Automotive) I have an 07 xterra, 265/75/16's fit with no issues. We have 51,000 miles on a set of these with no complaints. They are comparable in performance to the BFG AT KO's that we have used in the past but much less expensive. The only drawback to the Hankook's is that they do not have the three ply sidewall like the BFG's. If you are a hard core wheeler these are probably not for you. If you need a decent wearing highway tire, that performs well off-road these are your tires! They have a deep tread which requires rotation about every 10 thousand miles(or else they will start to vibrate when braking), I keep them aired to 40 PSI to keep the TPMS system in the xterra happy. Traction wise they have been equal to the BFG's. Because of the deep tread they are a little noisey but I notice it more around town and coming to a stop than on the highway, but they are not loud (for an all terrain tire) by any means. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , July 19, 2012

By far the finest snow going tire I have ever put on a 4WD 1/2 ton.

This review is from: Hankook DynaPro ATM RF10 Off-Road Tire - 265/75R16 114T (Automotive) By far the finest snow going tire I have ever put on a 4WD 1/2 ton. I live over 3000 ft elevation with 7% grade goat paths for roads. These track almost like running dry, and are predictable when sliding. Give good feedback. Great tire. Funny thing, they handle even better in the dry! 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , November 23, 2013

0 5/5 Benjamin Finnell - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Hankook DynaPro ATM RF10 Off-Road Tire - 265/75R16 114T (Automotive) I bought these for my 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4. I have put about 500 miles on them so far in a variety of terrain, and I have to say that I am very pleased with the performance. I wasn't sure what to expect from such an inexpensive tire, especially off-road, but I have been on mild trail runs so far with great traction and road feel.I have yet to see how they will hold up over time, but for the price, I think they are a great value so far. I will update the review every 6 months for the life of the tires to give you an idea of the performance and to track how long they hold up. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , February 19, 2013
Tiered side grooves for more predictable cornering
7-8% wider footprint than the competition for increased road contact and grip
Deep two-step sipes extend tread life and increase performance on wet roads
Wraparound tread gives a rugged look and increases puncture resistance

    Great tires, great price

I had these mounted a few days ago. I obviously cannot comment much about the long term quality. These tire do, however, look outstanding. Their ability to grip the road is great, the ride is smooth, and they aren't as loud as many agressive "mud tires" are. The produce a moderate hum at 70 miles per hour, but it can't be considered loud. Asthetically, they look great. The tread extending onto the upper sidewall is a nice touch. While unecessary for most people, it looks great and might actually prove useful at some point, especially during the winter. Another reviewer stated the tires they received were out of balance, but they required only minor adjustments when my friend mounted and balanced them. I've already received several compliments on them. Whie Kenda is typically known for bicycle tires, they have a winner with the KR29 mud tire. Looks great, performs well, now let's see how long they last. Luckily I only average about 7,000 miles per year on my truck... 5/5 Mike - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Kenda Klever M/T KR29 265/75R16 123Q (24297526516EW) Im the type of person that when i get something for my truck, like these tires, im gonna see how well they perform. After putting them on i went digging in the snow with some friend that used to out dig me and nobody can out dig me now. I have really abused them quite a bit and they still look pretty good. They are fairly noisey on the highway but not the worst that ive heard. I plan to buy these again!!! 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , March 3, 2013

0 5/5 EerDog - See all my reviews This review is from: Kenda Klever M/T KR29 265/75R16 123Q (24297526516EW) If you need a off road tire then I recommend them. Don't pay $250-$300 for the brands this is the same performance, same look, same wear as those just half the price. My first pair of Kenda M/T, but just ran the Kenda A/T and they wore a little quicker than expected, but again were $50 less a tire. So, price per mile was still really good. These have some road vibration at slow speed (expected) but quickly smooths out. Ride is good, traction is good, with some obvious slipping in snow and ice conditions. I am a forester and I will buy another set in 30,000 miles. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , January 28, 2014

The wide grooves between the outer tread blocks allow the MXT to easily clean out, increasing grip for superior traction.
Siping for increased wet traction on the highway also provides extra biting edges for enhanced off-road traction
The amount of rubber on the road is optimized to provide excellent extreme terrain traction and enhanced driving feel.
Aggressive, deep "side biter" design increases off-road traction, and sidewall abrasion resistance.
The scallops provide a "mud-scoop" effect, for superior off-road traction. Traction edges on the alternating shoulder elements add additional biting edges for improved lateral grip.
