Exceptional OFF ROAD (and on road) performance

0 5/5 Amazon Customer - See all my reviews This review is from: LT 285/75R16 Thunderer Trac Grip Mud Tire 2857516 285 75 16 Possibly the best off road tire for the price! I have used BF Goodrich Mud Terrain and Goodyear Wrangler MT/R's on my Chevy Silverado, Land Cruiser and Jeep and these are on par if not better than both of them, plus they look great. Not the cheapest by far but still a great price overall. They clear mud quickly and work great on sand and light rock crawling as well. Of course they don't have the highest speed rating, BUT what true off road vehicle is going at those high speeds anyway (Baja excluded)? I do a lot of overland trail driving through the outback and have racked up the miles and they still have almost like new tread. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , December 29, 2015

    Great tires!

0 5/5 Ed in Albuquerque - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Hankook DynaPro ATM RF10 Off-Road Tire - 265/75R16 114T (Automotive) I have an 07 xterra, 265/75/16's fit with no issues. We have 51,000 miles on a set of these with no complaints. They are comparable in performance to the BFG AT KO's that we have used in the past but much less expensive. The only drawback to the Hankook's is that they do not have the three ply sidewall like the BFG's. If you are a hard core wheeler these are probably not for you. If you need a decent wearing highway tire, that performs well off-road these are your tires! They have a deep tread which requires rotation about every 10 thousand miles(or else they will start to vibrate when braking), I keep them aired to 40 PSI to keep the TPMS system in the xterra happy. Traction wise they have been equal to the BFG's. Because of the deep tread they are a little noisey but I notice it more around town and coming to a stop than on the highway, but they are not loud (for an all terrain tire) by any means. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , July 19, 2012

I liked them from the start

0 5/5 Mark Staves - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Hankook DynaPro ATM RF10 Off-Road Tire - 265/75R16 114T (Automotive) I bought these tires in the spring of 2014, for my 2012 JK Jeep, I liked them from the start. Good looking tire. But I wanted to wait for a review after a few months of winter driving. I read a bad review fro a guy in California who has no business driving on the snow. Dude, stay on the beach. Best tire I have bought! Sticks to the road in all kinds of snow weather, slush, packed snow roads, ice. Great tire! I live in Upstate NY, the real upstate. 1 hour from Canada. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , March 1, 2015

    Great tire

0 5/5 Cherokee boy - See all my reviews This review is from: Hankook DynaPro ATM RF10 Off-Road Tire - 265/75R16 114T (Automotive) I have the 235 65 15 on my jeep Cherokee, and I love this tire. Ive had em for about 10k miles now, and I haven't seen any tread wear. Don't know how you can run a tire for only 150 miles and destroy it, but if I had to take a guess its driving style more so than the tires fault. Off road I have plenty of traction when I need it, I air down to about 19 psi for the rocks. The tires handle ok in 2wd for snow and ice, but as soon as I put it in 4h I'm king of the road. Very quiet tire, much more so than the bfg at/m, and they perform just as well if not better than the bfg's do. Over all I'm very satisfied with this tire. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , February 13, 2012
Wraparound tread gives a rugged look and increases puncture resistance
Tiered side grooves for more predictable cornering
Deep two-step sipes extend tread life and increase performance on wet roads
7-8% wider footprint than the competition for increased road contact and grip

    Great tires, great price

I had these mounted a few days ago. I obviously cannot comment much about the long term quality. These tire do, however, look outstanding. Their ability to grip the road is great, the ride is smooth, and they aren't as loud as many agressive "mud tires" are. The produce a moderate hum at 70 miles per hour, but it can't be considered loud. Asthetically, they look great. The tread extending onto the upper sidewall is a nice touch. While unecessary for most people, it looks great and might actually prove useful at some point, especially during the winter. Another reviewer stated the tires they received were out of balance, but they required only minor adjustments when my friend mounted and balanced them. I've already received several compliments on them. Whie Kenda is typically known for bicycle tires, they have a winner with the KR29 mud tire. Looks great, performs well, now let's see how long they last. Luckily I only average about 7,000 miles per year on my truck... 5/5 Mike - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) Good tire for the price

0 4/5 Goob - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) Im the type of person that when i get something for my truck, like these tires, im gonna see how well they perform. After putting them on i went digging in the snow with some friend that used to out dig me and nobody can out dig me now. I have really abused them quite a bit and they still look pretty good. They are fairly noisey on the highway but not the worst that ive heard. I plan to buy these again!!! 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , March 3, 2013

    Great and great price

0 5/5 EerDog - See all my reviews If you need a off road tire then I recommend them. Don't pay $250-$300 for the brands this is the same performance, same look, same wear as those just half the price. My first pair of Kenda M/T, but just ran the Kenda A/T and they wore a little quicker than expected, but again were $50 less a tire. So, price per mile was still really good. These have some road vibration at slow speed (expected) but quickly smooths out. Ride is good, traction is good, with some obvious slipping in snow and ice conditions. I am a forester and I will buy another set in 30,000 miles. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , January 28, 2014
