0 4/5 Mike K. - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Coleman Stadium Seat (Sports) If you're a larger person (imagine over 6'2" and/or 220lbs), you may want to consider a different product. I am the aforementioned height/weight and, while this chair holds me, I can tell that if I were much bigger, it would not be able to support me. The chair itself is lightweight, which is both a blessing and a curse, as you sacrifice some stability (not having a solid back is kind of a let-down) and form for the portability (the lack of a solid back allows you to roll it up) and convenience. Being able to roll the chair up and carry it around by a shoulder strap is a great feature you won't find on many other stadium seats, and the storage pouch is a nice touch. For the price, it's a good deal. But if you're expecting the Cadillac of stadium seats, look elsewhere; this is the Honda Civic of stadium chairs... it's not the fanciest ride, but it'll get you where you want to go. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , June 2, 2011

Perferct for picnicks and field seating at a baseball game

These chairs have a number of features that make them perfect for a picknic or field seating at a baseball game (which is what my husband and I use ours for).First, they are very lightweight and so, when carried on your back using the backpack straps, aren't a strain on your back. They are a tad large (i.e., they stick out a bit past the shoulders), but as long as you're careful and not attempting to navigate a labyrinth or squeeze through tight doorways, you should be fine. The bottom of the seats have a nubbed, rubber coating that makes them stay in place on the grass or a terry towel, but it is still smooth enough to "scoot" to change position. The chair clicks into position solidly and can support the weight of leaning back into the chair (and my husband and I are definitely on the heavy side). I especially enjoy that the cushioned back (which is soft but firm) extends past the armrests.Putting the chair back into the flat position can... 5/5 Christina Sampson "Shutzie27" (Phoenix, AZ) - See all my reviews This review is from: Picnic Time Portable Ventura Reclining Seat (Sports) These chairs have a number of features that make them perfect for a picknic or field seating at a baseball game (which is what my husband and I use ours for).First, they are very lightweight and so, when carried on your back using the backpack straps, aren't a strain on your back. Comfortable & Practical!

I bought this chair intending to use it for outdoor concerts, picnics, etc and chose this model because of the armrests. While I can't comment on its long term durability having just received it today, I will say that for comfort, practicality, portability and appearance it meets all of my expectations. The different adjustable positions are a definite plus and folding/unfolding it is actually very simple. The instructions are in fact on the paperboard insert but folding it is intuitive and flattening it simply requires you to fold it all the way in and then back to flat. The cushion is well padded and there are zippers that allow you to access the padding. I don't intend to mess with this unless I need to at some point down the road but I like that there is an easy way to get to it. I can personally see sitting in this chair for long periods of time and being quite comfortable. The supports seem to be very sturdy both in the main section of the... 5/5 K. 0 5/5 Amazon Customer - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Picnic Time Portable Ventura Reclining Seat (Sports) We have had our chairs for over 1 1/2 years and they are still in amazing shape. We use them extensively as we have a daughter in competitive volleyball and son in competitive baseball. They are super comfortable and everyone wants to know where we got them. After I bought mine, my parents and my in-laws bought them. For larger individuals, you can open it with the armrests folded back so they become part of what you sit on. They are super stable and you can sit on the back bleacher and not feel like you are going to fall off. Highly recommend! 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , August 1, 2013

    great chair

0 5/5 Rosa - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Markwort Patented Deluxe Wide Model Stadium Chair (Sports) I ordered the wide model for my husband and the regular model for myself, both chairs were awesome, but after sitting in the wide model I realized it is much more comfortable than the regular chair. Because it is wider, the fabric on the back stretches a little more allowing you to slightly recline, which when comparing the two made a huge difference. I am a size 8 and although I fit in the regular chair, it did not leave much room. I returned my regular chair and ordered a wide model for myself. I would suggest this chair for anyone looking for a stadium chair. Great quality, durable, and easy to transport. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , August 17, 2011

This review is from: Markwort Patented Deluxe Wide Model Stadium Chair (Sports) By the 4th hour of a swim meet when the bleachers have carved indentations into your soul, ones eyes will tend drift hungerly to the well seated bottoms of the better prepared and they will have this chair. At the 5th hour when you promise yourself "never again!" and you try to console yourself with cheap Walmart promises or drift toward the beguiling Dick's (Sporting Goods you cad!) beckoning with sensational deals, Resist! It is here you will find true hope for your burning buns. With this chair, when comes the 6th hour you will not stand and do the waffle butt waddle. Neither will you volunteer to officiate inspired by impure motives of desiring the slightly padded 20 year old metal folding chair. Forget the right branded gear, forget the sharpie, forget the heat sheet but do not forget to bring this chair! 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , November 29, 2012

Important that you attach them or back cover can slide off. Found following on another website:One More Thing: Included with each stadium chair is a plastic bag containing 2 small screws. What are these screws for?, you ask. They secure the back of your Stadium Chair, so when you carry the seat to / from the game, your Stadium Chair back stays securely attached to your Stadium Chair seat.Instructions: Screw each screw into the back of your chair to secure the back to the seat. Look for 2 little indents and screw in the screws.Approximate Screw Time: 10 seconds.NOTE: If you forget to screw in the 2 screws, your back will fall off when you carry your chair. However, please do not try and return your chair, for it is not broken. The seat has multiple features that makes it perfect for outdoor concerts, picnics, beach or field seating at a baseball game. This model is great because of the armrests. I will say, for comfort, practicality, portability and appearance it meets all of my expectations.First, it's extremely lightweight (approx 7 lbs.) And so, when i'm using the backpack straps, aren't a strain on my back. The backpack straps are not heavily padded, but I don't really find this to be an issue since the chair is very light and I don't intend to take it on long hiking trips anyway so as long as you're careful and not attempting to navigate through tight doorways, you should be fine. The multiple adjustable positions are a definite plus and folding/unfolding is actually fairly simple. More comfortable than expected, and totally easy to carry

I acquired this in a holiday lightning deal on Amazon for th ir ty dol l ars. It arrived very quickly and in good condition. Most importantly, it is very comfortable and seems like a sturdy, well made product. My wife and I have both used it for sitting in bleachers and we both attest to a high degree of comfort. The other reviews pretty much tell it all, but I would reinforce the point that the larger chair of the same brand is more comfortable than this one (we got one of each). However the larger one also takes up a few inches more width on the bleacher, and if you're attending an event that's crowded, you might regret it.The person who said it's too heavy must have no arm strength whatsoever, or they're totally a troll. Although the Markwort chair is bigger and heavier than the typical padded-fabric seat (which provides vastly less support and comfort), that should come as no surprise to anyone who looks at the picture and sees its frame is made of tubular metal. 0 4/5 Boomer - See all my reviews This review is from: Stansport Folding Stadium Seat with Arms (Sports) This is a good seat for the money. There are lots of storage areas on it to put water bottles and snacks. The chair is comfortable and great that you can lean back. The only complaint that I have about the seat is the front bar where your thighs hit, the bar makes the back of your thighs hurt a little if you are sitting for a long period of time. If they could put a little more padding on the bar this chair would be perfect. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , August 23, 2010

    Review of Stansport Stadium Seat

0 1/5 Reader (Seattle WA) - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Stansport Folding Stadium Seat with Arms (Sports) I was excited about this seat as the measurements were the largest I had seen and it had nice features, like arm rests and a pocket to keep things in. However, the clasp that holds the seat to the bleacher is very inadequate. There was only one small hook in the center of the underneath of the seat. This hook immediately popped out as soon as the seat was sat on. I had to return the seat for reimbursement. Very disappointed. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , July 25, 2010

0 4/5 Troy F. (Houston, TX) - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Stansport Folding Stadium Seat with Arms (Sports) I like the chair with a couple of exceptions. The cross brace that the back of your legs make contact with are a little under protected. If you're sitting for a long while, the backs of your legs will be the first to become sore. The backrest is strong and provides support as well as the cushion in the seat. The back of the chair has a pouch that remains open while the seat is in use. I have added a small piece of velcro to keep the pouch from opening while seated. Overall, I like the chair but I don't love it. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , November 4, 2010
