    Defective Charger-Made Right

0 4/5 Mr Clyde (Valdosta, GA, United States) - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: EBL® 855 4 Bay 9V Li-ion Battery Charger with 4 Pack 600mAh 9V 6F22 Low Self-Discharge Lithium-ion Rechargeable Batteries (Electronics) arrived On time. Batteries appeared OK - Charger did now work as advertised. One of the four slots did not work. So i effectively have a three slot charger. Disappointing. I am To old to be hassling with a return/refund and packaging up and a trip to the post office and mailing charges - to bother with a return. I guess Ill have to eat the bad product. Update: Customer Service contacted me shortly after this review was written and they offered a no cost Replacement. No shipping charges for the replacement item. Arrived sooner than expected. Pleasant to deal with and prompt with their shipping. I have been trying to update this page for about 4 months and just figured out how to do it. Evidently I updated the wrong pages three times - or i failed to up date anything three times. I promised them on the phone I would update this review back in December 2013 and I finally have managed to do just that. Changing my rating to 4.5 stars. Would recommend this company! 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , November 11, 2013

Decent rechargable battery for the price.

0 3/5 David - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: EBL® 855 4 Bay 9V Li-ion Battery Charger with 4 Pack 600mAh 9V 6F22 Low Self-Discharge Lithium-ion Rechargeable Batteries (Electronics) I purchased this package because I go through a lot of 9volt batteries playing paintball. I have 2 battery operated hoppers, and they each take (2) 9volt batteries and I have an electronic trigger gun that runs on a 9volt. All in all, that is (5) 9volt batteries and under moderate to heavy use, I have to replace them every 3 months or so. That's $27 every 3 months. This 4 pack of batteries with the charger should save me quite a bit of money.I only gave them 3 stars because the overall size of the battery is a few hairs bigger than a Duracell or Energizer 9volt battery. I had to "convince" them to fit into the paintball hopper. It scraped some of the foil off of the batteries, but they fit and worked like a champ. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , September 30, 2013

Good economy, but batts may not fit!

0 3/5 Richard Church - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: EBL® 855 4 Bay 9V Li-ion Battery Charger with 4 Pack 600mAh 9V 6F22 Low Self-Discharge Lithium-ion Rechargeable Batteries (Electronics) Good battery capacity, very economical price. But the cases are 0.025" larger than nominal specification for 9-V batteries in each dimension. They do fit and work in Lectrosonics beltpack M175s and LMa transmitters. They DO NOT FIT in Lectro UH195 (& other Lectro ?) plug-on Transmitters. Other more expensive Li-Poly rechargeables DO fit in the UH195s. The plug-in charger blocks several sockets on an outlet plug strip. Would prefer a "desktop" charger with a cord. It seems to work fine though. Buyer beware! 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , November 13, 2013

Match those batteries with the correct application for best results

The Energizer L91 Lithium AA cell is a fantastic power source. For high-drain applications, it offers great advantages over ordinary alkaline cell and rechargeable NiMH cell. However, it is also very expensive as a disposable battery. So it is important to recognize the strength of L91, and use it only in applications that give you the best results. Otherwise you'll be wasting your money.According to data sheet published by Energizer, the capacity of the Lithium AA cell (L91) is 3000mAh. This number remains nearly constant with load current. In comparison, the ordinary Alkaline battery (such as the ) is rated as 2800mAh, but only at a very light load of 25mA. At a heavy load of 1000mA (typical for a digital camera or flash unit), its capacity drops to below 1000mAh. This number gets even worse at low temperature... 5/5 NLee the Engineer (Nashua, NH) - See all my reviews, January 1, 2008

Lithium AA batteries are NOT the same as Lithium-ion Rechargeable

[Updated on June 8, 2011]Note: Amazon has moved two of my previous reviews (one for Energizer Lithium AA 4-pack, one for 8-pack) under one page. Therefore I have to update my review to add some new information - or else I look like a fool who says the same thing twice.=== New information follows ===There seems to be some confusion about those Energizer Lithium AA batteries. Several people have bought those batteries under the assumption that they are rechargeable, only to be disappointed later.Despite the name 'Lithium', those Energizer Lithium AA batteries are very different from the commonly known 'Lithium-ion' rechargeable batteries. Namely:- They are single-use batteries (NOT rechargeable like Li-ion)- The terminal voltage for each cell is around 1.65V (compared to around 3.7V for each Li-ion rechargeable cell)The two types of batteries are not compatible. If your camera accepts AA cells, then you should use... 5/5 NLee the Engineer (Nashua, NH) - See all my reviews, January 1, 2008

At zero degree C and 500mA load, the L92 can provide about seven times more energy compared to the E92. 0 1/5 Spaceman - See all my reviews This review is from: 4pcs Ultrafire 18650 3000 mAh 3.7V Li-ion Rechargeable Battery+1pcs Charger (Electronics) I have had years of professional experience in testing batteries, from aerospace to hearing aid batteries. I know how to test batteries & I have the equipment. I tested these based on the standard slow 20 hour discharge rate, not a high rate which makes the batteries look even worse. This battery company is basically running something like a scam. I bought a total of 6 of these at 2 different times. My tests show that on average, they don't even measure up to a 1/3 of the 3000 mAh level claimed by UltraFire. One went totally dead after using only once.Furthermore, they only have about the same power level as found in a triple pack of AAA batteries. Therefore, buying these batteries makes no sense at all. Save yourself time & trouble & stay with lights that use the triple pack of AAA batteries. Keep it simple...... 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , March 2, 2013

When you think China; Think... BUYER BEWARE!

These chargers are junk! They are everywhere because they are cheap. I'm an engineer, and part of my job is to prep items for, and run items through UL and FCC testing. These are not only noisy, and out of tolerances for FCC emissions, but based on what I see; there is no way these chargers could pass UL testing. They are dangerous! The contacts where the AC terminals connect to inside are poorly designs, made of cheap material, and in some cases can bend and touch each other. There is no thermal, overload, or short circuit protection. Anyone who values their safety will not use these. If you must use these chargers DO NOT leave them unattended for any amount of time. This is true not just for this one, but all of the 18650 and 14500 chargers that look like this one. They are all made from the same design, and with the same chap materials. Buy a good charger... These cheap Chinese electronics are made entirely for profit, and in no way do the manufactures EVER consider your safety... 2/5 MGB (California, USA) - See all my reviews This review is from: 4pcs Ultrafire 18650 3000 mAh 3.7V Li-ion Rechargeable Battery+1pcs Charger (Electronics) These chargers are junk! ULTRAFIRE is 100% unreliable

This brand and manufacturer is 100% unreliable ... bought 4 flashlights from them pre-Sandy (the storm) ... used them during Sandy and they worked fine. Post Sandy ALL flashlights and batteries failed! As follows: 2 batteries simply starting leaking in the charger (also an Ultrafire charger) - tossed; 2 batteries never recharged again - tossed; 2 batteries charged only partially - tossed; 1 flashlight simply burned out (all LEDs) - tossed; 2nd flashlight partially burned out - main center LED which was generating most light - tossed; 3rd flashlight - never turned on again - on/off switch just stuck and would not disengage - tossed; 4th flashlight - constant flicker no matter what setting I put the on/off switch on - tossed. So let's do the math here: over $150 of essentially throw away flashlights, batteries and chargers for a one time event. No matter how you look at this it's a ridiculous proposition - next I am going back to Fenix - also equally expensive for just one but it lasted... 1/5 jackbnimble (New Jersey) - See all my reviews This review is from: 4pcs Ultrafire 18650 3000 mAh 3.7V Li-ion Rechargeable Battery+1pcs Charger (Electronics) This brand and manufacturer is 100% unreliable ... bought 4 flashlights from them pre-Sandy (the storm) ... used them during Sandy and they worked fine. 0 3/5 John Le - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Aweek® 4Pcs 14500 2000mAh 3.7V Li-ion Lithium Rechargeable Battery AA Batteries For Cree Led Flashlight (Misc.) They work alright, all four cells arrived neatly and on time but like all Chinese made non-name brand li-ion cells, these are terribly overrated. For name brand 14500 cells, you'll rarely find them over 900mAh and yet these are somehow 2000mAh? Lies. But they do work well in my flashlights, they provide plenty of juice and seem to be well made for the price I paid. With prices like this, I'm guessing these cells are anywhere from 700 to 900mAh in capacity. At this moment I am unable to measure the capacity of Li-Ion cells but I am judging it purely on the run time for my flashlights. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , January 15, 2015

Tested 4 pieces using a Smart Charger.

0 3/5 Retired Engineer (Palo Alto, CA) - See all my reviews This review is from: 2Pcs/lot 3.7V 5000mAh TrustFire 26650 Rechargeable Li-ion Battery with PCB (Electronics) I bought 4 cells and tested them almost immediately using a Liitokala Lii-260 smart charger. I topped them up first, noted the internal resistance, and then did a full discharge cycle. With the protection circuit these are a very tight fit into that analyzer, due to length, so I'm not surprised if they have problems fitting into some devices. For the 4 cells internal resistance was 47, 49, 49 & 59 mOhms, which seems fine to me. The total delivered charge was 2796, 2904, 2908 & 2951 mAh. I'm disappointed that they would lie so much in the rating. To be fair to TrustFire, others are lying about their capacity just as much.(I also bought 4 of the UltraFire 6000's and they came out at 3324, 3365, 3447 & 3533 mAh. The UltraFires were cheaper but they had a bit higher and a lot more variable internal resistances: 48, 53, 57 and 169 mOhms) 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , August 30, 2014

Genuine Trustfire "flame" come as a shrink wrapped pair with a hologram sticker and gold negative end cap. Note - ALL lithium ions are over rated! Battery needs jump start, instructions here:

The NP20 that came with my camera worked fine for 6 months. It didn't really get all that much use though. Last time I used it was in Jan.'09 on a ski trip. I charged the battery fully the day before I left, 1/4/09, and then only took 12 pic in 4 days. Since I didn't have a use for it again, I left the battery in the camera as I've always done. When I went to turn it on this time, only a little over a month later: 2/18/09, it was totally dead! I thought this was impossible. But I put it on the charger and left it over night. When I went to get the camera I noticed the charge light was red and blinking, not green, as it should have been. So, I took the camera off the charger and then put it back on again, thinking I didn't make the connection properly. The red light began blinking with in a couple of seconds again. I did this 2 more times, but always got the same result. So I called Casio and got the scoop. Poor quality batteries. They are sending me a new one. Then I got on... 1/5 J.E. A good battery that sometimes has problems

0 4/5 Makenna "mark-o" (new jersey) - See all my reviews This review is from: Casio NP-20 Lithium Ion Rechargeable Battery for the Casio Digital Camera (Electronics) The Casio NP-20 is an incredibly small, thin battery that provides great performance for compatible Exilim digital cameras. That is, when it works properly. The problem with this battery is (or can be), that it can suddenly become un-rechargeable for no apparent reason. This is indicated by a flashing red light in the compatible battery charger (Casio BC-11L) when the battery is inserted for recharging. The one good thing is, these days you can often buy a replacement original Casio battery on Amazon used for $10-$12, instead of the original $40 or so for a new one. I've bought several used ones that work as good as new, although I've also had one or two with the "flashing red light of death indicator" as well. 0, January 3, 2008

    Top Notch Batteries

I'm not going to get too technical about these batteries and compare them to every 18650 on the planet... been there done that over others. I purchased these Panasonics for an electronic cigarette that I own, a Joytech eVic. The battery that comes with the eVic is also a Panasonic but the charge it holds is 2600 mAh so these 3400 mAh's definitely last longer. I use a TrustFire multifunction charger I purchased on Amazon (for a great price) to charge several different brands of 18650's as well as other battery sizes and everything works fantastically. I was surprised when I got these batteries in the mail because they are packaged SO well and with great care to protect them. Oh, I should also mention I did a LOT of searching and these were the best price I found anywhere. For whatever your need for 18650 batteries, I highly recommend both these batteries and this seller! Here's a link to the charger I purchased here on Amazon:... 5/5 TXgungirl (Houston, Texas) - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) Oh, I should also mention I did a LOT of searching and these were the best price I found anywhere. For whatever your need for 18650 batteries, I highly recommend both these batteries and this seller! Here's a link to the charger I purchased here on Amazon:...
