Save yourself a lot of money with these!

I drive a 99 Grand Marquis that just turned 100K in miles, and I had the normal misfire due to the manifold leak of coolant into the spark plug cylinder, the check engine light turned on (and would flash at times), and the engine would run rough. Of course, I go down to Autozone to have them pull the codes and turns out that cylinders 2 & 3 were the culprit. I did try to change all 8 spark plugs first to see if that would solve the problem. Go to Autozone to ask that they turn the check engine light off (which they reluctantly did once I explained to them that I'm trying to service the car and not get around the state smog check). I drive out of the parking lot, and the light comes back on. Go back, same cylinders. So, now it's time to change the ignition coils. I almost had a heart attack at the store when they said $50+ each and that they suggest changing all of them! (Of course they suggest changing all of them!)So, I come home, check on Amazon and find this... 5/5 Blueman 46 (Las Vegas, NV) - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) I was having a misfire on my 2001 Ford F150 Super Crew 5.4l without it throwing a code. For the price I figured I'd give it a shot. Just make sure to put in new spark plugs at the same time. you don't want to pull the coils back off just to do the plugs. It wasn't a difficult job just time consuming and patience necessary. I did have 1 of 8 coils that I had a problem with the wire harness clip not snapping on but I just removed the coil and noticed both the pins on the coil were in the wrong position. I bent them both up a bit and it snapped right on. For the price and lifetime warranty, I would buy these from ECCPP again. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , May 3, 2015

    Awesome deal!

Highly recommend...Perfect replacement at less than half retail !! . I was getting the common CE light with 'cylinder x misfire' code so I replaced all 5...if one was failing its reasonable to figure others could be next...at this price I was able to do a complete replacement / tune up of all 5 for less than the retail price of 2.. and why wait and have to take everything off to get in there twice? Was a no-brainer.Now to performance: I was at 80k and after doing the coils and plugs there is a very noticeable difference in acceleration, most specifically at speed...like getting back on the gas after a coast/brake is faster and smoother, lag is pretty much gone, and feels like more power in these situations (ie change lanes, passing, re-accelerate after slowing). There is some difference in acceleration from a stop...again, smoother and tighter and feels more efficient (not the hp these H3's need off a light, but a little better!). Smell on cold start seems like it... 5/5 T. Riley (Stratton, VT & Rochester, NY) - See all my reviews, October 11, 2014

This review is from: ACDelco D1935E GM Original Equipment Ignition Coil (Automotive) So I bought 6 of these because it was such a good deal. I called local auto parts store and one of these was running $75. I got them on here for about $50 less, so I decided to just buy 6 for the price of 2 essentially. (Not a) Knock-off

0 5/5 fferd - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Motorcraft DG508 Ignition Coil (Automotive) Purchased this thinking it was a genuine Ford part, but its a knock-off with no discernable markings. Still working as it should 2 1/2 months later so here's hoping it lasts.UPDATE: My mistake, this turns out to be a genuine Motorcraft part. This item, at least for me at the time, came in plain packaging and the coil pack itself did not have any brand labeling on it unlike the coil packs it was replacing so I made the assumption it was a knock-off. Changed rating to 5 stars and this coil pack is still running strong.UPDATE May 2014: Still running strong with no problems whatsoever. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , April 13, 2012
