Save Your Money For A Real Cradle

0 1/5 Baja Ron "RES" (Baja Arcadia, CA USA) - See all my reviews This review is from: 1000lb Capacity Engine Cradle Dolly for Chevy/Chrysler This cradle is typical of what is being offered from our brothers offshore who have no idea what a Chevy engine is much less how to build a cradle to suspend one. I would be shocked if a Chervolet block was ever used in designing the prototype. The welds are sloppy and not uniform. The bolts are all unmarked so you can bet they are grade zero. I was unable to start 4 of the 8 bolts to hold the engine to the stand. One on each side and one on each back of the block. Not a good stand 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , April 24, 2010

    Poor quality item

0 1/5 Robert - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: 1000lb Capacity Engine Cradle Dolly for Chevy/Chrysler I received the product in an undamaged container, however half of the protective end caps were broken off, telling me it was packed this way. The welds where the mount plates attach to the frame were crooked, so that only 3 of the 6 mounting holes on the back and side of the block matched up properly, difficult to do, since they were even elongated holes to mate to various kinds of blocks. One of the lock washer sets for the wheels was missing entirely, and tightening the other lock washers resulted in them breaking in two. While the company offered to replace it, why would I take that chance? I accepted a discount on another item in exchange, still not recouping my expense for the original product. Buy anything other than this. I encouraged the company to replace this item with another of better quality in the future. I would rate it a zero, but I am required to check at least one star. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , January 31, 2010

Drenched in style and saturated with speed, this is a Metal Gear like none other

Being a long time MGS fan, my hopes were not particularly high with this game. The absurd title, the ludicrous box art (which looks like something from the 90s), the temporary cancellation of the project, and the departure from the MGS tradition, all led me to believe that this was a disaster in the making (despite Platinum's fine track record). Fortunately, I've been pleasantly surprised by the quality of this game... "Rising" is a blast to play for anybody who enjoys action games (whether you're an MGS fan or not).Foremost, the game does manage to retain the feeling that it's actually occurring inside the MGS universe, despite its over-the-top nature (and in terms of physics, anything our protagonist does in "Rising" is not far from what Vamp achieved in MGS2 and 4). Longtime fans will be pleased by the inclusion of familiar sights, sounds, and themes, even if the gameplay is radically different. Raiden, of course, returns, and his inclusion as the protagonist is bound... 4/5 G. Denick (Somersworth, New Hampshire) - See all my reviews, February 19, 2013

A worthy addition to the Metal Gear series.

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is a new take in a somewhat unexplored direction of the Metal Gear universe. We've always known there were cyborgs and soldiers who handled missions in ways that didn't require stealth. Rising gives us a chance to explore things from a different angle while still retaining the same feel of the Metal Gear series and it does so beautifully. The gameplay is phenomenal. Platinum has a gift with the Hack N' Slash genre and it shows with Rising. The combat is fluid and challenging while still being fun and accessible. The parry mechanic feature heavily in the game and while it may take some time to master for some, it's incredibly satisfying when you pull off a perfect parry and counter-attack an enemy for extra damage. There are certain fights that require you to have a decent handle of the move as well, and if you don't the game will help you out by beating it into you. The combat just feels GOOD. Zandatsu never got old, and cutting up enemies... 4/5 Audrey (San Antonio, Tx) - See all my reviews = Fun:, February 22, 2013

    Konami, you guys....

0 5/5 Noah - See all my reviews This review is from: Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance (Video Game) To say that this game is fast paced would be an understatement. This is a flowing experience that allows for great combat and some of the most amazing boss battles you will ever see in you life. There are so many ways you can write 'OH MY GOD' before you start to become repetitive. If you're looking for an action game with a style that you may have not seen before, a storyline that holds water (if a bit disappointing towards the end), and a combat system that will have your thumbs moving around on the controller at the speed of sound: pick this up. As my first Metal Gear game, I must say that my expectations for the franchise skyrocketed within the first hour of the game. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , December 20, 2013

Gameplay will focus on two key elements: swordfighting, and a style of stealth that is more fast-paced and action-oriented.
Rising's stealth elements will emphasize Raiden's considerable speed and agility through what Matsuyama describes as "hunting stealth."
"Cutting" entails sophisticated swordplay that lets players engage in third person melee combat, as well as precisely slash enemies and objects "at will" along a geometrical plane using a "free slicing" mode.

The video quality is superb, as is ease of use. Here are a few hints and things I noticed. The battery out of the box will not power-on the camera and needs some minutes of charge to even show 0%. You can operate the camera from the charger but the battery is not being charged, says the manual. There are two 1920x1080 picture quality modes: MXP at 24 mbps and FXP at 17 mbps -- and three at 1440x1080: XP+, SP and LP, at 12, 7 and 5 mbs, respectively. I believe it defaults to LP out of the box, which is 1440x1080 at 7 mbps. I suggest you select FXP to get true 1920x1080 resolution. Upping to 24 mbps might be a good idea only if you are going to do a lot of post editing -- I can't see an improvement over FXP. Recording times with a 16GB card are 1:25, 2:05, 2:50, 4:45 and 6:05, respectively. When the camera is OFF, pressing the DISP button (on the camera body) will show battery capacity in minutes and percent. The best HD camcorder under $600

I need a HD camcorder for my new born baby, but with a limited budget. So I compared canon HF200, Sony CX100 and Panasonic TM20R since they are all in sub 600 range. I tried all of them in local stores and finally settled with canon HF200, although it's a little bit more expensive than cx100 and TM20R.The sensor of HF200 is the biggest one among these three, 1 /4" (1/5" for CX100, 1/6" for TM20R). It guaranteed best resolution, 2.99 Megapixels ( 2.3 M for cx100, 1.14M for TM20R) and in my experience larger sensor also helps lower the noise in dark environment. Indeed, minimal illumination condition for HF200 is 0.4 lux, much better than thre other two. I took a couple of sample shots in local stores and the picture from HF200 for dark environment is acceptable. Sony cx100 is barely acceptable and Panasonic TM20R is total crap, not even as good as my webcam. After I finally bought HF200, I never regretted! The video quality is just superb. For the 1920x1080... 5/5 Katie Moter - See all my reviews, August 30, 2009

    Wow.

Having played games since the days of the Atari 2600, and even some Pong...I've been there, and done that. So it's hard to truly impress me. I love games, so I play lots of them and have fun with them, etc. But to really impress me, a game has do to something I've never seen before. And this one does that, and how. It complexity, depths, and breadth of a ginormous open world console/pc game, and puts into a console that you can play while sitting on an airplane, or in the car, or on the toilet...etc...etc. Stunning. When the Vita launched, I would marvel at how beautiful Uncharted: Golden Abyss was while playing it...but this game is on a whole different level. Uncharted was very linear in scope, and so the technical achievement there isn't quite as impressive. This game though...it's truly like picking up a PS3, cramming it into a tiny little handheld, and playing it anywhere. The depth of the world in this game is stunning. I find myself ignoring the task at... 5/5 Saint Tardamus - See all my reviews = Fun:, November 1, 2012

One of the best Vita games at the moment

For the record, I really loved Assassins Creed: Bloodlines for PSP. I think the same can be said about this game: A console quality game, on a handheld. And now, it can also be said, console quality graphics. They're amazing, and its the first thing that stands out. This game uses the same engine as its console counterpart, and it looks quite as stunning. Now, the sound is a quite a bit off, its... not all too good sound design. There's not really ambient noise, and for an open world game, that's a bit odd. The other thing is, the over use of very old and almost cliche sound effects. Other than that, I have no complaints regarding technicalities. Now, as for the story, I absolutely love it so far. The beginning was more than a little rocky, but once you got into it, it moved along nicely, and made you feel immersed. This is truly Assassins Creed as we all know and love, right in the palm of your hand. So, no real complaints there. The multiplayer,... 4/5 M. Dotzler "Kasaru" - See all my reviews, October 30, 2012

I have owned a small wedding videography company for 5 years and after using this camera for a week I am incredibly pleased with it. If you want the smallest camcorder you can get without sacrificing video quality in any way, than this is the camcorder for you. I am amazed at how small this thing is while still having a professional grade lens. This is the same Canon lens as on their GL2 which is probably the most popular entry level professional camcorder ever (which I have owned for a few years).Pros:1.) Professional camera lens with superb HD video quality (even in low light situations). I cannot express enough how amazing the pictures look.2.) 32 GB of internal Flash memory (This is the only difference from the HFS100) A.) Flash memory is instant. The Vixia HFS10 is an upgrade for me, coming from the . I've been enjoying the HG20 for a few months now, so being able to dig in to the new features on a 2009 model camera has been a real treat.Right off the bat, the video image quality on the HFS10 is incredible. Hands down, the best I have ever used. Facial recognition is blazing fast and accurate, even when people are moving reasonably fast. Recording in low light indoors produces bright and clear results. Recording in very bright light outdoors produces a razor-sharp picture with virtually no halo effects or bleeding. This is where Canon really shows off the new Digic 3 processor. The 10X optical zoom is smooth, and doesn't lose focus easily when zooming in and out. I exchanged a Sony HDR 500v for this camcorder after getting a loud hissing sound from the sony. That gave me a chance to actually play with the sony a little bit before returning it. In a few words if you are familiar with manual controls in photography, you'll love the Vixia (which is my case). If you need something simpler, point-and-shoot-kind-of devise, go with the sony. I'm a professional photographer who does video for fun and I absolutely like the amount of manual controls this camera offers. (The sony didn't even have a sound level meter that you could turn on! A must if you use a second mic.)It also has this 'springy' on-screen-menu that allows you to change your recording settings in as little as two steps. Very very helpful, again for the person who likes manual controls.Another feature which I really like is the fact that they placed the remote control sensor on the LCD viewer, which allows you to use the remote control to actually record from any... 5/5 E. I have played about 80 of the 90 something songs in Warriors of Rock, finished Quest Mode, and played online once. What's Good:-The Set List: This is entirely opinionated. If you are even considering buying this game, look up the full set list online. Personally, I think this is a great set list. It has songs I always wanted in a music game (ex. Nemesis, Burnin' for You). Beyond the songs I was excited to play from bands I either really liked (Rush, Styx, My Chemical Romance) or was at least somewhat familiar with (Queensryche, Night Ranger), the game also has songs which are funner than I expected. For instance, I originally had no expectation for Cherry Bomb, We're Not Gonna Take It, and Suffocated, but I love playing all of those songs. Overall, there are distinctly different songs which are more often than not... 4/5 M. Mazurek (Chapel Hill, NC) - See all my reviews, October 3, 2010
