    Great Handlebars

0 5/5 Eric Bain - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Pure Fix Cycles Drop Style Bike Handlebar, 42cm (Sports) Before I purchased the Drop Handlebars I had BMX style bars on my fixie. These drop bars are much better, I have much more control over the ride and I feel like I get more power through the pedals. The drop bars also give my bike a much clearer look. And for the price they can't be beat. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , April 19, 2013

    Awesome.

0 5/5 jorge montelongo - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Pure Fix Cycles Untaped Bull Horn Handlebars (Sports) I ride my bike fixed gear, these handle bars are nice and sturdy, made a huge difference going from a riser bar to bullhorns. The bars themselves are finished very nicely (got the white ones) they look so good without tape on them I've just been riding them without the tape. Overall it is a very good product at a great price. I ride mostly urban areas and a few big hills here and there, i weigh about 170lbs and haven't felt anything in the bars suggesting they are weak especially when I hit my cadence going up a steep hill. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , March 18, 2013

Dont try to put brakes on the ends, too small

I got these because the angled part of the bar looked long enough to fit my whole hand. I'm trying to fit accessory brakes and bar end shifters on the end and want to keep my hands on the uprights as thats about the same position and angle where they rest now on the hoods of my drop bars which is the only place I ever grip while riding. Unlike what's shown in the picture, these bars neck down in diameter two times, once from 26 to 24, then once more to something smaller a few inches out from where it fits to the stem. If you want to fit brakes next to the stem, should work fine. If you want brakes on the ends like me, the bar is too small for the breaks to fit. Also, the angled part is too short to comfortably take my whole hand and the brakes. I sent them back and ordered the Soma urban persuit bars which are 24mm all the way to the end so my brakes fit fine, the angles are long enough to take my hand but just barely. The one draw back is that the Somas only come in 25.4mm at... 3/5 Austin (Baltimore) - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) 0 3/5 P. Yale - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Sigma Bicycle Brake Light - 3100 It's more than worth $10, but even still, it's too big for my gf's bike that I wanted to attach it to. Needs a resizing kit, or more adjustability or options for a smaller light. BTW this is tiny! Junk

0 1/5 Drew kammer - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Sigma Bicycle Brake Light - 3100 Tried this product on three different type of bicycle brakes. You might get lucky, and it might fit on a department store bike. It is too big too fit on a high quality brake. Good-quality brakes have tiny movement, and this will not work on good-quality break. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , October 10, 2015

    5 year review!

This tool has been with me through 4000 miles of touring, plus countless commutes and day trips, boasting many successful repairs including rebuilding a front wheel. I've used it to assemble entire bikes from their shipping crates, with the addition of a 15mm wrench for the pedals. It has also been used to dis-and-reassemble furniture, and yet years later all the bits are still in perfect condition save for some light tarnish. The chain tool has worked perfectly for me from 5-8 speed chains. I've never owned 9 or greater so I can't comment on it's compatibility with those. To anyone having trouble with the flapping chain tool: unscrew the tool from it's pin and push a snug rubber o-ring past the threads. I don't know why crank bros hasn't figured this out as it cheaply solves a huge complaint. I've cast the m-19 off several times in favor of lighter, sleeker tools, but I always return to it when I decide a few dozen more grams is going to pay off when I need one of the many other... 5/5 Aaron - See all my reviews This review is from: Crank Brothers Multi Bicycle Tool (19-Function) (Sports) This tool has been with me through 4000 miles of touring, plus countless commutes and day trips, boasting many successful repairs including rebuilding a front wheel. Perfect tool for the road or trail

This fits perfectly in the tail bag and doesn't take much room if you don't put it in the case it includes. The spoke wrench may not work on bladed spokes (I have Mavic Ksyrium Elite wheels and carry a special 2 part Mavic spoke wrench). I'm more concerned about bulk than weight since I'm not out to race, but I want it all to fit in a small tail bag... When I'm using my road bike I carry a spare tube, this tool and a spoke wrench and still have a room for a cell phone and wallet. When I'm mountain biking this fits nicely in the small pocket of my Camelbak pack with all the other junk I'm carrying (and don't forget the sunscreen!).I bought this wrench because it has 2 different size philips and flat bladed screwdrivers as well as the usual sizes of the hex drivers. Most of the other tools out there only have a single size philips and bladed driver, and I hate stripping screw heads so I want to be at least close to the right size and having the 2 sizes gives me options... 5/5 Amazon Customer (San Jose, CA.
